The E-PREP is a semi-automatic liquid staining cytological processor for tiles with biological material. It employs a technique of filtering and precipitating staining droplets through dual membrane filters, thus providing an easy and convenient staining process at a speed of 150 plates per hour.E-PREP provides improved accuracy over the classical PAP test. It facilitates observation under the microscope since it does not contain debris, mucus, etc. It also provides the possibility to add other immunochemical tests, such as HPV tests. The department performs cultures and tests for bacterial, fungal and parasitic infections. Antibiograms, detection of infectious agents, etc.
In the haematology department, a complete blood count, haemoglobinopathies, blood group, coagulation test (INR, APTT, fibrinogen) and thrombophilia factors are performed.
The immunology department performs a wide range of tests for autoimmune diseases, allergies, viral infections and sexually transmitted diseases.
In the hormonal department of our laboratory, indicative tests are performed for thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, infertility and pregnancy.
