What type of covid testing do you offer?

Real Time PCR, performed on a privately owned analyzer, approved by the European Union, certified by the Pasteur Institute of France, that has 99.99% accuracy.

 

Rapid Antigen Covid (lateral flow), using a testing kit that has sensitivity of 97.56 % (ct value: 20 – 30), and the diagnostic specificity of >99.9 %

 

You need to have your passport / id card number with you during your visit as it must be shown on the test results page.

When can I get tested?

Opening hours for Kalamata Medical Center are Mon-Tue-Thu-Fri 06:45-22:00 – Wed 06:45-20:00, Sat 07:00-16:00 and Sun 09:00-15:30

What is the cost per person?

How long does it take to get the results?

The results for PCR testing are ready within 3-5 hours.

The results for rapid antigen normally take about 20 minutes.

Where does the sampling take place?

 Sampling takes place in the semi floor of Falireas Medical Center, in a special room equipped with air disinfection device. Alternatively, we can visit you at your premises at an extra charge. Should you require a visit at your premises please contact our Medical Center to make an appointment on +30 2721 101010, or email us through our contact form.

Do I need to book an appointment?

You do not need an appointment for Kalamata medical center, unless you want to be tested at your place. In this case you should call us on +30 2721 101010 or email us through our contact form

How do the results get delivered?

The results (Signed health certificate in English) are delivered by email and / or hard copy
