Blood tests and examinations were performed by specialized medical personnel from Falireas Medical laboratories, ensuring the reliability of the results. Kidney diseases often progress without obvious symptoms, making regular check-ups essential to prevent serious complications. As part of prevention and public awareness actions, Falireas Medical Laboratories implemented this initiative in collaboration with the Municipality of Pylos-Nestor. Preventive medicine is a key pillar for the promotion of public health, and corresponding initiatives will continue with the aim of raising awareness and improving the quality of life of citizens.
We express our warm thanks to the Municipality of Pylos – Nestor for providing the space in the central square of Pylos. As well as the Mikromani Women’s Association “Maria Polydouri” for their valuable support in snacks that contributed to the creation of a welcoming atmosphere for all participants.
World Kidney Day is an important reminder for all of us about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of kidney diseases. Our kidneys perform vital functions, removing toxins from the body and regulating essential body functions. However, kidney diseases often develop silently, without obvious symptoms, which makes preventive screening even more necessary.
Through this action, we encouraged citizens to incorporate preventive examinations into their daily lives, as early diagnosis can save lives.
This initiative is a practical application of corporate social responsibility, reinforcing the importance of access to free health services for all. With the collaboration of public and private entities, we can contribute to improving the health of the community and offer essential support to those who need it.
